Painting a white model black is sure to attract the attention of many but does this warrant more attention than size 0 models, or more than letting them walk down the catwalk with a leopard print, real fur, high waisted, all in one trouser monstrosity?

Outrage over Vogue photographs has been the most read item on the Guardian today.  It is an issue that is certain to ignite and divide, but should Vogue be held accountable?
